The present study mainly engaged in analyzing and designing vibration isolation hanger based on auto-adaptive friction damping. In order to investigate hanger's characters of auto-adaptation vibration isolation, using advanced Stribeck friction model which concerning effects of both pressure and relative velocity to get equation, analyzing nonlinear convergence. Solving equation with Runge-Kuta method to obtain numerical values. Under the conditions of cosine and impact initiating, results show that the hanger, from low to high frequency, has fine ability of vibration isolation, also, good ability to resist impact, indicating that friction damping can adapt itself to variational excitation input.Summarizing the analyzing effects being obtained before, hanger structure is framed, including friction damping. At this section, some important parts of hanger are clearly charted, also simulated to calibrate stress and deformation. All that have been done is to ensure the hanger can fully achieve its capability. At last, a compulsion vibration experiment is build to test hanger's characteristics. Analyzing experiment data, results indicate that friction damping design can adapt itself to different input actuation, and is suitable for vibration isolation in both low and high frequency, better than linear damping. In experiment, some unexpected problems are found, this denotes the damping design and its capability needs to be further researched.
