The use of renewable energy technologies are more and more widely used in the construction of community. For example, some new communities are using Ground-Source Heat Pump air conditioning system in stead of traditional electric air conditioning system. And some communities are using solar power system instead of purchase of electricity from the grid. So, these communities are usually called low-carbon communities. The design of distribution system on low-carbon community requires the coordination of new energy supply system, and deserves the specialized study.In the article, the low-carbon communities which are using Ground-Source Heat Pump air conditioning system will be discussed on the method of energy-saving planning from the view of load forecasting, the selection of network structure, the method of reactive power compensation and equipment selection.In the part of load forecasting, the new method will be used which is the load divided into the resident load, the traditional common load and the GSHP air conditioning system load three parts. The first two load forecasting is using the method of unit indicating except the household load forecasting which is calculated without the air conditioner load. the GSHP air condition load system forecasting is using the following method. First, the load is simulated running in the typical condition by time. Second, the load of GSHP air conditioning system is calculated by forecasting the typical daily load curve of GSHP air conditioning system. At last, the sum of the three value multiplying each contemporary coefficient is the total load of the flats.In the part of the selection of network structure, the traditional wiring method of the single loop network without the low voltage connection composed by switching station and box-style transformer will be substituted to the loop network with the low voltage connection composed by switching station and box-style transformer in order to meet the needs of the rising rate of the residential occupancy. The transformer will be used with the low voltage connection according to the occupancy rate in order to improve the using rate and decrease the no-load loss.In the part of reactive power compensation, in order to save energy the method of improving power factor, balancing the three-phase load and compensating reactive power on spot will be used.In the part of equipment selection, the amorphous alloy transformer will be used instead of the new S9-type transformer. The LED light will be used instead of the traditional energy-saving light. The feedback type energy-saving elevator will be used instead of the traditional elevator, the low-voltage electric cable which is energy-saving in anti-aging ventilated room will be used instead of the present cable.Finally, the energy-saving planning program is provided in case of Shanghai Jinmao Chongming low-carbon experimental community in the article. Moreover, the benefit of the energy-saving planning method which proposed in the article is analyzed.
