| With the rapid development of infrastructure construction in China, subway construction has also developed rapidly in many cities. And in the process of subway construction, the rainfall will greatly influence the safety of excavation slope. Rainfall infiltration usually leads to the deformation of the unsaturated soil slope and the uneven settlement of subway excavation, which will threaten the excavation safety. And if deformation and uneven settlement is very serious, which will lead to the collapse of excavation. Therefore, slope deformation in subway excavation under rainfall infiltration is studied in this paper, evidently the studying is very significant to enhance the excavation safety in subway construction.Firstly, in this paper, research status of slope deformation analysis in the rainfall conditions is reviewed. Then the characteristics of the subway slope's soil are analyzed and the concept of matrix suction in unsaturated soils is introduced, shear strength of unsaturated soil and the soil - water characteristic curve are also described; Secondly, the mechanism influencing of the slope deformation of subway excavation under rainfall infiltration is introduced, the process of rainfall infiltration into subway excavation and factors of the slope deformation are discussed; Finally, combined with the example of Wuhan subway excavation and based on the theory of rainfall infiltration, the effect of the slope deformation of subway excavation under rainfall infiltration and the treatment effect of the slope deformation are analyzed, and certain control measures of the slope deformation under rainfall infiltration are proposed.
