Wireless Power Transmission is a new technology of electric power transmission, which is also called Contactless Power Transmission. The function of power transmission in this technology has obvious advantages compared to that of normal technology by contact between two conductors, such as getting rid of strictness of wire and making the contact between power supply and using more convenient. So that, this technology has wide foreground in the application of special environment and portable equipment recharging. There are three ways to achieve wireless power transmission from a power source to a receiver: by radio waves, by magnetic field induction and by resonant coupling. The way by magnetic field induction is called Inductive Contactless Power Transmission and it is relatively mature compared to the other ways, especially in lower power and shorter distant situations. The induction power transmission system which has characters including safety and high reliability and flexibility and contactless and wearproof can meet the need of the normal electrotechnical using .So it is necessary to make further research on this technology.Based on the principle of induction coupling, we established the model of coils in different topology, Such as conic coil in single layer and enclosed conic coil without iron core and enclosed conic coil with iron core. Taking advantage of the advanced electromagnetic simulation functions of the finite element analysis by the software, the coupling coefficient betweens coils analyzed for the three types of coils respectively, and the model construction graph, together with the contour graph of flux intensity and the flux distribution graph obtained. At last, some conclusions about the topology optimization of coils are obtained. Our study in this paper acts promotion effects in improving the wireless power transmission efficiency in the future.
