Transmission is an important part of the vehicle driving system. Because of its advantage of stable starting, smooth shifting, no impact etc, the hydraulic transmission now is the mainstream products of automatic transmission. Automatic transmission exempt the multifarious operation when use the Manual Transmission, it can not only greatly alleviates the driver's working intensity, but also greatly improves vehicle performance of power, efficiency and comfort. Optimum control of the automatic transmission can improves ride performance, also prolong service life of transmission system and clutch friction disk. At present, China's research on the automatic transmission is still in its infancy, most of the automatic transmission on the market are dependent on imports, but on the other hand, military vehicles, large tub, high-power vehicles and other equipment they need their own production of automatic transmission. So, in-depth study on the controller of automatic transmission has a very important economic and social significance.Based on Guizhou Winstar Hydraulic Transmission Machinery CO., Ltd's MA5711 automatic transmission model as the prototype around the hydraulic automatic shift transmission controller, this paper conducted the following research work:Firstly, around the hydraulic control system of automatic gearbox extensive collection of relevant literature and information at home and abroad, and were systematically collated and summarized. On this basis, MA5711 type automatic transmission for a more detailed anatomical analysis, introduced its system components, and each part works, power transmission line, and key technical problems.Secondly, based on the results of previous studies, combined with my previous research experience, I produced a set of embedded control system design for Guizhou Winstar Hydraulic Transmission Machinery CO., Ltd. The control system produced TMS320F28335 TI DSP as the main processor models, the auxiliary model to Altera Corporation EPM240 CPLD. The control system has a 16-channel analog signal acquisition input port, 3 port speed signal conditioning, and 10 VBS valve drive output port with 1939-based automotive CAN bus communication protocols. It can communicate with other automotive electronic control units. In this paper, all of the control system hardware and software were described in detail.Finally, through field testing, the transmission shifted smoothly between the seven gears, valve current and clutch pressure meet the requirements of the company. This verified the design of the controller. At the same time, the project passed the acceptance. The first hydraulic transmission hydraulic transmission developed by Guizhou Winstar Hydraulic Transmission Machinery CO., Ltd and IEST will soon be produced.
