| Under the building "eco-garden city" guidelines, every city accelerate the pace of construction of urban park. The demand of urban park of citizens is also increasing. In this situation, the urban park is open gradually. As the in-between space of urban park and city space, boundary space is a favorite and activity space. This paper discusses the reasonable design of the boundary space, in order to make the urban open park become a open space which have a closer integration with the urban green space system. The paper takes the west park around the city in X i'an as a example, from the dilemmas and pitfalls of the open urban park, summarizing the characteristics and function of the boundary space of the urban open park. The paper classifys the boundary space and presents the design countermeasures for the different boundary space. The paper's includes the following main conclusions.1. Opening the urban park is in the situation of the social demand and its own development, there exists two open forms: operating and Management and planning layout. In the open process, there emerging some questions, including functional aspects, Environmental and ecological aspects, and operating management aspects.2. The boundary space of the open park has different characters, places function well in isolation and protection, contact and transition, behavior-orientated. The type of the boundary space is decide by the function of the city space, so the boundary can falls into 2 categories, the space adjacent to the urban road, the space adjacent to the residential land, the space adjacent to the commercial land, the space adjacent to the city waters, the space adjacent to the urban cultural relics. Every boundary space has its own characteristic.3. The land type of the west park around the city in X i'an is abundant, users have the different satisfactions with different types of boundary space. Through the survey, it finds that the space adjacent to the wall and the west road around the city enjoy the highest satisfaction. And it summarizes the design procedures of the plants, terrain, the Wall and the Most in the boundary space. The paper also finds the problems and analyzes its cause in the boundary space.4. The design of the boundary space in the city open park should follow the principles of integrated, classified, cultural, ecological and humanity. The plants, waters, terrain and communal facilieies have the different design procedures in the boundary space. The thesis put forward different design tactics in the guiding ideology, boundary form, sectorization, line of the sight, traffic organization and landscaping, in order to provide theoretical guidance to the city open park. |
