The core of semeiology theory is the system of expression and implication which is accomplished by symbol. The branches of semeiology emerge when the theory of semeiology is used in literature, aesthetics, Modeling art and architecture. An American scholar thinks that semeiology is both insight and methodology. So semeiology can be used to verify our universe and our ways of understanding it.This thesis is based on the theory of semeiology and use document analysis, fieldwork method, logical speculation method and Systematic approach to research form of expression, color Composition, styling, color aesthetic function and meaning of expression. This thesis tries to research decorative patterns of the Imperial Palace buildings. In order to inheritate and develop decorative patterns of the Imperial Palace buildings we must absorb its shapes, develop its meanings and spirit.
