Until now still not many people know this Port where is called " Jinkou" formed in the Ming dynasty, flourishing in the middle period of Qing dynasty, when Jinkou was the biggest port of Shandong , still in use at the last century by the 1940s,as Qingdao's growing ,Jinkou was disappear day after day,the former's prosperity ever have to be dissolved. However, not empty to floor at Jinkou port after losing port function, many old street and construction still in use, from these historical street space and single building, can see Jinkou port of precious historical and cultural contexts.In this paper, the object of study is Jimo Jinkou port which has a history of 400 years . This paper will use architecture and urban planning perspective, combined with geography, sociology and other disciplines of knowledge to study with in. An in-depth study of the ancient port will be done by field surveys, data collection, comparative analysis, icon language and so on.
