Experimental Research On The Vibration In Sawing Of Granite With Diamond Wire

From the invention of the diamond wire saw, the diamond wire saw used widely and showed a unique advantage in many fields with its efficiency, environmental protection and other features. The application of diamond wire saws is particularly prominent today for its green, environment and low-carbon.The diamond wire saw (DWS), which is bound to cause vibration during the cutting process as a flexible manufacturing tool. The vibration has a direct effect on the cutting process. Excessive vibration has some effects on the sawing process. Therefore, the study of the DWS vibration can help us acquaint with the mechanism about diamond wire saws importantly. The subject collects the vibration signals by means of the synchronous tracking with the help of six laser displacement sensors, and describes the Vibration waveform display of the processed signals by LabVIEW virtual software, then analyzes and processes the collected signals with MATLAB software.Compared with vibration signals in six locations, as long as processing parameters are constant, we can find that different locations L and measurement of the length A have the same frequency, but their amplitude are different in the case of no-cutting and cutting conditions. In the condition of no cutting of DWS, the vibration signals of DWS contain same signal components in different locations. Vibration in the diamond wire saw mainly contains the vibration frequency of wire and the movement frequency of the diamond beads.In the condition of cutting of DWS, the movement frequency of the diamond beads play a key role in the vibration frequency of DWSm, If feed speed (vf) and line speed (vs) increase, the vibration amplitude of diamond wire will be reduced.Throughout the complete cutting process, with the diamond wire saw cutting into stone, the vibration amplitude of diamond wire saws will be reduced.
