As the fast developing of our country's economy,the progress of urbanization increases rapidly and the utilization of urban land is increasing more and more. In order to meet the requirement, obtaining living space from the ground becomes one of the main trends of the future construction. These factors lead to an increasing number of pits in city, also the forms of retaining and protecting for foundation excavation varieties. The common includes piled anchor, soil nailing wall, diaphragm wall and so on, but the common ground of the support systems is that resource can not be reused. A new form of excavation came into being in order to realize the goal of environmental protection and sustainable development.The GFRP composite material mainly studied in this paper is the new building materials recent years. It is convenient for construction, lightweight, high strength, so we use this material in the foundation pit for middle beam. The main content of this search:(1) Understanding of the origin of composite materials and the application at home and abroad, study the mechanical properties of composite materials, produce composite specimens and do tension bending and compression tests. We do indoor bending test for the existing composite materials and collect the information of deformation and force.(2) Describe the special beam element in detail with ABAQUS in solving numerical simulation problem and the study of composite material aimed at the advantage of solving the problem of nonlinear behavior of composite material by the finite element software ABAQUS to pave the way for finite element model.(3)The stress numerical simulation of composite material. The whole loading process of composite profiles is simulated with finite element software ABAQUS according to the results of the experimental study. Select the best mechanical properties of composite cross-section as the cross-section foundation middle beam through the comparison of simulation results and experimental results.(4)The simulation of composite material middle beam demonstration project. Simulate the force and deformation characteristics of composite middle beam in demonstration project according to the geologic condition and engineering status, the successful implementation of the demonstration project has a guiding role for the future. Convert the connection of middle beam and the stress state of rock-bolt, analyse and summarize the simulation results in many different situations and confirm the practical applicability and applicability of composite middle beam.The mainly study of this paper is numerical simulation of the anisotropic GFRP beam. The using of GFRP middle beam in foundation pit support is an innovation, worthy of application and promotion.
