| With the continuous development of the construction industry, accomplished buildings' reinforcement and reconstruction theory and technology have developed rapidly, and obtained remarkable economic and social benefits. In order to satisfy the people's needs about changing the functions of the existing buildings, the new made or reinforced beam-column joints will be often encountered in the actual projects. The joint is the core of the structure, and the research about the seismic performance of such joints is not much currently, so it's necessary to study the connecting method and seismic behavior of beam-column joints in reinforcement and reconstruction of buildings.Based on consulting the relevant literature and analyzing the work characteristics of the reconstruction and reinforcement beam-column joints, the method of adding bonded rebar is put forward to improve the existing method, and two groups of three specimens are made according to whether the additional bonded rebar exist. Through the analysis of all specimens by low cyclic loading test and numerical simulation analysis, some conclusions are made as follows: (1)the additional bonded rebar can strengthen the collaborative work ability of the concrete and the steel at the beam-column joint surface, improve the joints' integrity; (2)the reasonable additional bonded rebar can greatly improve the bearing capacity of the joints, effectively improve the joints' properties as the ductility, stiffness degradation and energy dissipation capacity and so on; (3) the additional bonded rebar can change the position of the beam plastic hinge to avoid the joints occurring sheared destruction. These results as above have the certain reference for the further study of the connecting methods and mechanical properties about the new beam-column joints, and can also perfect the criterion about the design of the concrete reinforcement and reconstruction, witch are available for actual reconstruction project design and construction. |
