Along with the rapid develop of computer technology,CAD makes a more and more extensive application in machine-building industry,but the universality of CAD is difficult to satisfy the demand of various design of concrete products.So,according to different actual needs and based on common CAD,proceeding secondary development in different degree become the important content of modern product design.As a new technical method of CAE,virtual protoype technique can modify design depending on the virtual model before manufacturing real physical model.It's not only reduce development period,but also improve the design quality and efficiency.The text proceeds part design of speed reducer by making use of the art that combining parameterizic design and virtual model technique.On parameterizic design and simulation analysis,the main research contents include:first,making UG the 3D software with strong function as developing platform, thoroughly controling secondary development method of UG,choosing second development tools of UG/Open Grip and UG/Open MenuScript, proceed 3D parameterization modeling of involute spur gear and design the parameterization system by using of UG/Open API,VC++.After the model of involute spur gear finished,it can creating other part models, assemble the reducer in assembling module of UG and analysis interference of pinion unit.Secondly, import the 3D model of speed reducer in UG into ADAMS in Parasolid.In ADAMS, the mechanical system dynamics analysis software ,add constraint,contact force,driving moment torque,and load,and create the virtual model.Finally,by setting rules of virtual model of speed reducer , proceed dynamics simulation analysis on virtual model and respectively get number and direction of revolution speed and acceleration and mesh condition of gear tooth.According to data of actual design, by theorically calculating, make the theory number out. Comparing the result and theory number, the conclusion is coincidence with actual circumstance.
