Safety and losses reducation are two subjects of Power supply utilities. The ratio of power distribution network's energy loss is an integrated economic indicator. It not only reflects the rationality of the power network's structure and operation mode, but also reflects the level of the power units' technique and management. So, system loss rate is one of the important indexes for evaluating the company management.The loss of electric network is very important for electric power system. So network loss calculating regularly and reactive power compensating are necessary for power system. Taking the features of regional electric power network into consideration, some traditional power flow calculating methods such as Gauss-Seidl, Newton-Raphson, PQ decomposition method, are discussed. At the same time, the solution to the modified equation is improved, so the voltage of system is improved accordingly. The mathematical model of reactive power compensation is established which is fit for regional electric network,taking the least summation of active power losses,voltage beyond limits and capacitor investment cost into consideration. By the method of algorithm,reactive power sources are optimized,and an application program is programmed. The mended measures are used in a regional power distribution network including 43 nodes, and the results indicate that the method of network loss calculation an of reactive power optimization is efficient in the electric network.The system is verified to be steady in operation and rigorous in results by real example. |
