Infilled reinforced concrete frame structure with good economic and broad applicability, has become the most common application structure. Generally, in designing and analysising process, we often ignore the impact of infill wall because of the interactions between the structure and infill walls are too complex or only considering the filling cycle of the wall of the structure. Just a frame structure to bear all vertical and lateral loads, filling the role of the wall does not participate in this approach is unreasonable. By investigating a large number of Wenchuan earthquake damages we can find that infilled reinforced concrete frame structure often appear "pillar hinge destruction" of the failure mechanism, and regulatory requirements of the "weak beam strong column" failure mechanism has not been realized. Among them, there is not consider the impact of infill walls on the structure is one of the main cause of these conditions. Therefore, this paper for the seismic performance of infill walls to study the effects.Include the following:(1) Studying infilled reinforced concrete frame structure experimental and theoretical analysis, discussion of infill walls on the seismic performance of frame structures;(2) Summary and analysis of a variety of infilled reinforced concrete frame structure simulation models.(3) Using the equivalent braced frame structure for simulation model to imitate the filled wall, according to 7 degree earthquake intensity on the structure design, establish without considering the effect of infill walls and consider the role of infilled infilled reinforced concrete frame structure model, apply Pushover analysis analyze two different models of 8 degrees in the event of severe earthquake on the performance.(4) Combined with foreign standards, analyzing a building for seismic analysis of infilled walls on the performance, find the frame rate and the rate of the columns to seismic performance is important.
