With the development of society and economy, energy has become daily poverty, "energy saving" has aroused greatly attention in various countries. Recycling of energy is effective means of "green energy", and becoming a worldwide research. For a long time, electrical energy storage commonly used battery until recent decades, with the development of new materials technology and power electronics technology, flywheel energy storage technology was able to achieve a major breakthrough. It has advantage of high energy storage and specific power, long cycle life, non-pollution, and has been widely applied in many fields, such as aerospace, uninterruptible power supply(UPS) system, electric vehicles, etc.By analyzing the internal and foreign references and related technical material, this paper designed flywheel energy storage system for AC-DC-AC traction drive mode of rolling stock. When locomotive brakes, the power generated from traction motor is converted to drive brushless DC motor driven high-speed rotating flywheel, so that the kinetic energy of the locomotive is stored up in the form of kinetic energy of flywheel. When external power required, the flywheel drives the brushless DC motor to generate power, converted to provide traction power system or other load.According to the request of energy storage/release function of flywheel energy storage, this paper designed brushless DC motor control system of the two working modes. Due to the core of TMS320F2407A chip, it designed driver and detection circuit of power electronic device and the master control system. Based on the module of SIMULINK software package, this paper established the model of brushless DC motor and related control system, and simulated and analyzed the two working modes of flywheel energy storage system. |
