Catenary is an important component of electrified railway traction power system. On high-speed, high-frequency grid, to ensure the safety of the Catenary structure is an important requirement for the safety of train operation. At present, China's railway passenger line speed of EMU has to 350km/h. As electric locomotive or EMU Pantograph flow from Catenary, the impact and vibration caused by Pantograph make greater impact for the overall structure of Catenary. Now the monitoring of the overall structure of Catenary rely on detection of vehicle inspection. If do like this, it will spent long time, and low efficiency, the effect is not good.This paper analyzes the traditional detection technologies detect catenary project and its problems. To compensate for its shortcomings, proposed monitoring system to monitor OCS project. The system for real-time monitoring system, can affect the catenary structure of the main factors in real-time security monitoring, monitoring data and warning information can be timely transmitted to the monitoring center, in order to ensure traffic safety in judging basis.At first, analyze the program of the current catenary monitoring and point out it's problems, and then from three aspects of the project catenary fault monitoring and data characteristics, monitoring the transfer of data to determine its form and representation; Secondly, by a few of the system kind of way of a comparative analysis of information transmission, select a suitable system of wireless& wireline transmission, and design the system's overall structure and components of the structure; Thirdly, protocol is selected according to the transmission mode, developed message point table and the station address distribution rules, the capacity of the system were estimated to illustrate the general structure and the file transfer process, the data flow is estimated and analyzed; On this basis, in the VC++6.0 environment, using C++ language to compile the communication process of each part,and in the PCs, run the program, to simulate all the communication actions of the real system. Experimental results show that:the communication solutions, what proposed in this paper, is reliable and feasible, either from the communication distance, or the communication quality. And finally, the thesis ends with the conclusion and the further works.
