The special-shape arch bridge has greatly enriched the structural styles of arch bridge, better achieved the purpose of coordination of bridge structure, social and natural environment and meets the people's esthetics request on the bridges. However, for the special-shape arch bridge is different from the regular bridge from the structural style and mechanical behavior. It changed the mechanical behavior of the traditional arch bridge and complicated the mechanical behavior of the arch. So, it is of theoretical significance and practical value in engineering to analyze parameters and detailed stress of the complex-loaded part as to this kind of bridge. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1. The development and research achievements of special-shape arch bridges were reviewed and summarized, and arch axis theory of arch bridge and process of derivation of reasonable arch axis under specific load were also elaborated. And then, a special-shape arch bridge was selected as the case study, its finite element model was established by using of software Midas/Civil. According to the mechanical behavior of main and auxiliary arch under various load cases, the proportion which the various load cases were in the combined effect and the most unfavorable combined load cases of the main and auxiliary arch were determined.2. On basis of the analysis of completion state of bridge, discussion of the influence of various parameters to the mechanical behavior of the main and auxiliary arch were processed in this thesis, such as the rise of the main and auxiliary arch, inclination of the main arch, stiffness matching of the main and auxiliary arch and their intersectant position.3. Finite element models were established by finite element analysis software ANSYS for the intersectant part of main and auxiliary arch, steel-concrete combined part in the foot arch of main arch. For the former, the stress distribution law in the intersectant part was analyzed and optimization schemes were put forward. For the latter, the mechanical behavior of this part was elaborated and some advices were proposed according to the analysis results.At last, the author summarized some pertinent countermeasures for the design of such bridge. The study of this thesis has some reference values for the engineering design and mechanical behavior of this kind of bridge.
