In China, especially in the village and town, there are large sum of brick and concrete structure building. These buildings are easy to expose to the high temperature last for a long time once there is a fire. Does the high temperature can influence the strength of brick and concrete structure building? Thus, the brick and concrete structure behavior in high temperature become a impending and important problem.Cement mortar is one of important part of brick and concrete structure building. Its behavior in high temperature is truly complicated than in normal temperature. Its mechanical property will change with the temperature in nonlinearity. This paper wishes to acquire the relation between the strength and temperature by experiment, to acquire the cause of this change by physical and chemical analysis. This paper also wishes to give some theoretical basis for dealing with fire better. Then, the conclusions are as follow.1. We analysis the relation of mechanical property of cement mortar and temperature, determine the strength of cement mortar in different temperature, draw a graph, conclude the experience formula.2. We analysis the relation of mechanical property of cement mortar and method of cooling, determine the strength of cement mortar in different temperature and suffered rapid cooling, draw a graph, conclude the experience formula.3. Through the TG, DTA, XRD and XPS analysis, we know the change of the microstructure. Synthesize the change of strength, we conclude the cause of the change of cement mortar in different temperature.
