Nowadays, the global energy crisis is increasingly severe.while. the DSCs has the characteristics of inexpensive and simple, as well as the higherη.all of these properties provide the possibility of the conversation and utilization of clean energy. Sensitize, as the engine of realizing the transformation of light into electricity, has an important position in the studies about DSCs.In this thesis,we bring in theπconjugative monomer 2-(octan-3ylthio) furan. and adopt the concept of starburst donor as well as analyse the ability of alkoxy-based donor. Based on this knowledge, we synthetize three dyes:LXJ-1,LXJ-2 and LXJ-3 by virtue of the classical methods of organic chemistryWe test the three dyes and dye-sensitized cells, and bring the LXJ-1 and Z907 and C106 into comparation in some aspects, so do to the LXJ-2 and LXJ-3 and C206. The experimental results show that, LXJ-1 dye has an absorption peak at 549nm in CHCI3, and the measuredεis 18.4×103M-1cm-1,theηis 8.8%. Though LXJ-1 is superior to Z907. it is inferior to C106; for LXJ-2 bearing starburst donors, it has a difficulty in regenerating due to the higher HOMO of molecular; LXJ-3, which has a tert-butoxide substituted triarylamine as donor, displays a red shift of 8nm compared to C206, and the maximum of theηis 7.15%. However, compared to C206, this dye-sensitized cell isn't stable enough.
