The gear driving, especially the helical gear which is famous of stability and replaceability, is used widely in the machinery. This article research on the involute helical gear modification and the injection molding process. The major work is summarized as follows:This paper introduces the finite element method and ANSYS contact analysis algorithm, compared the Lagrange algorithm, penalty function method and the expansion of the advantages and disadvantages of Lagrange algorithm, established the inclined gear contact analysis theory basis.According to the involute and helical generative principle established involute equation and helical equations, using Pro/E parametric design constructed the helical gear, and the three-dimensional geometrical model in importing to the structure analysis software ANSYS, the discrete grid for tetrahedron. Through ANSYS software of inclined gear contact analysis, simulation stress distribution. According to the results of analysis and tooth profile repair form of gear tooth profile on the principle, tooth profile repair after form results show the interference of meshing place significantly improved.Finally, through Moldflow software to simulate the process of plastic, through the gate location, quantity, layout and pressure-keeping process analysis to identify appropriate injection scheme for mould design, and the late provide a reference basis for injection molding process.
