In the modern military field, it is of great significance to carry on deep research about navigation system with high performance..To some navigation systems, they often need to be provided with various kinds of external reference information, which are usually stored in their proprietary database. As lacking of effective integrated management, the efficiency of navigation solution will be affected when the kinds of required information is increasing. In order to solve this problem, the paper proposes a combined navigation technology between SINS and common GIS, and mainly studies about SINS/MM/GM combined navigation system based on common GIS.Firstly, based on the the management model about general GIS, the paper raises a new concept of common GIS. In addition, the paper leds the map, Geomagnetism, gravity, astronomy and other reference information into the comom GIS, and then uses GIS spatial storage and management advantages to manage all kinds of information. In aircraft guidance, according to the actual needs, the processor can select appropriate geospatial information to apply in various navigation systems in order to achieve high-precision positioning. Then, two typical navigation match technology were studied based on the common GIS, that is digital image matching aided Inertial Navigation System and INS/GM combined navigation technology. For the former, the paper proposes a matching method between digital image and GIS vector data, and then constructs a mathematical model of navigation. Considering the position of image matching has differences with the INS center, the paper makes a deep study on transmission process of measurement parameter, and establishes a specific parameter model. For the latter, the paper studies a variety of geomagnetism matching navigation algorithm on the basis of building geomagnetic GIS library, and then study the information fusion method between INS and GM.. Finally, focusing on the adaptive Federated Kalman filtering, the paper studies the combined navigation system based on INS/common GIS. Considering the general inadequacy of adaptive information distribution factor, the paper proposed an improvement about the adaptive Federated Filtering. Simulation results show that the proposed combined navigation technology scheme is reasonable and feasible, and is of great practical significance.
