Aiming at the available flow-meter not being used to measure the dynamic flow of high-pressure hydraulic system, a new high-pressure gear dynamic flow-meter based on the superposition principle of the flow has been designed. The significence of this paper, development summarize of flowmeter on abroad and demestoc, the development trending, the structure and the working principle have been introduced. And the flow characteristics analysis, simulation research, dynamic characteristic analysis, the flow field of flowmeter emulation and the optimization design have been analyzed too.Based on the research above, the conclusions below can be concluded.Firstly, the structure characteristics and the working principle of the gear flowmeter have been introduced, and the flow characteristics have been analyzed.By using computer simulation software of its flow characteristic simulation, the conclusion is drawn that the pulsing coefficient of this miniature gear flow-meter is 1/4 of normal ones, which greatly reduces the system flow pulsation. So the gear flowmeter can be used to measure the side flow of high-pressure system.A solid model is established, and then a mathematical model is established based on the solid model. The transfer function of the flowmeter has been deduced, and the influence of dynamic characteristics on different viscous damping coefficient, different leakage coefficients have been analyzed.The relation between the varied gap and the pressure difference of the gear flow-meters has been gained based on the leakage analyzing, and then the improving measures of the radial clearance and the race leaking of the gear flow-meter have been proposed.An optimization mathematical model of miniature gear flowmetethe model with binocular mark that is minimum flow pulsation and minimum volume has been established. And the optimization results are obtained by using the optimal toolbox.As previously mentioned, the miniature gear flow meter is a new hydraulic flow. It has developed based on researching the gear pump and the gear transmission theory. It has the superior aspects, such as liquid pressure balancing, low flow pulsation and measuring high voltage side of high-pressure hydraulic system.
