The blade is one of the key components in the wind generator. Its design and reliability directly affect the safety of the wind generator operation, while blade's aerodynamic performance also directly affects the design of blade shape and the unit efficiency. So, it is necessary to conduct aerodynamic performance computing and numerical simulation for blade.According to the blade element momentum theory, a wind turbine blade aerodynamic performance calculation model is established, which is further modified in consideration of tip lost,wheel hub loss,blade of width and thickness. Aiming to a specific airfoil on 1.5MW wind turbine, the blade aerodynamic performance computational procedure is compiled based on MATLAB language, and the power and the power coefficient of the blade are obtained. Moreover, the influences of rotor compaction,installation angle,cone angle and yaw factors upon blade aerodynamic performance are analyzed. The three dimension solid model of blade is created by CATIA and two-order SST k-ωturbulence model is applied to simulate the wind flow field around the blade. The wind flow filed is meshed by ICEM and the simulation of aerodynamic performance is carried out by CFX software. The pressure on the blade's surface, the velocity vectors on difference cross-sections of blade and static pressures on the blade's windward side and lee-ward are obtained and the motion law of blade flow field is analyzed. The research results can provide the foundation for the blade's shape optimization design.
