| The abutment slope of the left band of Jinping hydropower station is in a complicated geology and has a geologic framework, which has a great affect on the feasibility, investment and operational effectiveness of this project.Unstable side slope is not good to the construction of the hydropower station at all, on the other hand, the operation will benefit from the sound design of the side slope. The current work is to search an optimal design for strengthening the side slope through researching the comprehensive supporting effect, which takes a great importance to the safety of the dam. We studied the rock mass structure of the side slope of the left band of Jinping hydropower station and analysed the deformation monitoring in this paper, and furthermore we primarily studied the supporting effect of the side slope. The main results are as follows.By investigating the geology on the spot and inquiring the materials, we recorded and analysed the geological conditions, architectural feature and rock characteristics. We also primarily analysed engineering geological condition, characteristics of rock structure, stress mechanism and degeneration failure mechanism.We collected the transformation feature after digging the side slope and analysed the character of fracture, deformation modes, type of the damage and residue stress. We also quantitatively analysed the character of fracture and deformation modes of the supporting elements, such as side slope, rock bolt, shear cave and so on.The supports of the side slope of Jinping hydropower station include: frame space beam anchor supporting, f42-9 shear displacement hole, slope surface hang nets gush concrete and so on, in which the former two are more important. We used the software ANSYS,FLAC3D to analysed, compare and simulate the digging of the side slope with supports. By analyzing the stress field, displacement field, stress and strain of characteristics test points of the excavation slopes, anchor supporting slopes, shear displacement cave supporting slopes and Anchor + shear displacement adit combination supporting slopes, we show the contribution of anchor and shear hole support to the slope stability from the macroscopic angle.Through the above study, we gave our reasonable comments and suggestions on the supports to abutment slope of the left band of Jinping hydropower station, we also gave our proposal for complement of the supports. |
