With the unceasing improvement of socio-economic level and people's living standards, people have more intensely demands of the comfort of environment. Now, the pattern of the control of subway environment have been developed into the one that the environment is controlled by the shield door near both side of the platform and the air conditioning system inside the platform from early one by natural ventilation. In this paper, some system of closed shield door on Chengdu subway is taken as an example to study the thermal comfort of the platform under different air distribution.By field testing in the typical subway platform of the operating subway of Line 1, the rule of switch a shield door is obtained as well as the quantity of air infiltration and air velocity near the exits of the stairs, and a calculation method of the quantity of air infiltration by a shield door is presented from the above study. The one-dimensional calculation software SES simulating the subway environment and the moving mesh technology of the three-dimensional calculation software CFD is used to simulate and study the quantity of air infiltration by a shield door under switch on and off the exhaust heat fan in the tunnel. When calculating the quantity of air infiltration by a shield door, on the method, the whole dynamical process is realized which the train is gradually stoped from operating and then the shield door is opened. Comparing the testing data and the result of calculation, the result of the three-dimensional calculation is more reasonable.When the shield door is closed, the preliminary and various optimized schemes of air distribution are simulated steady. The advantages and disadvantages of the various scheme are researched comparing the result of calculation and the evaluation indexes.When the shield door is opened, the various schemes of air distribution are simulated transiently, of which three-dimensional calculation boundaries are derived from the result of the three-dimensional calculation using the moving mesh technology.
