Special-shape arch bridge which is a burgeoning type of bridge structure with novel and artistic structure and unique shape has made a great development in the several years in China. However, due to the construction of special-shape arch is particular, the plane stress characteristic of traditional arch structure has been changed, its highlights the spatial stress characteristic of superstructure. The arch rib usually has one or more, with unique shape and stress analysis is complex. therefore, analysis on the stability and dynamic characteristics of special-shape arch bridge has important theoretic meaning and engineering practical value. The thesis introduces development and present situation of special-shape arch bridge firstly.and then introduced the basic theories and solution methods on stability and dynamic characteristics of special-shape arch bridge. The software Midas/Civil 2010 is used to built a finite method analysis model-No.3 landscape bridge in Erdos.and that is discussed with its special characteristics:(1) The stability behavior of the bridge is studied through modal buckling analysis and eigenvalue buckling analysis, and which is compared with relevant codes. At last, Parameter study was carried out to investigate the bridge stability.(2) The natural vibration characteristics of the bridge is analyzed. Taking into account the major parameters of arch bridge (the extroversion angle of the main arch rib, the point of intersection of main arch rib and subsidiary arch rib, the ratio between width and span of main arch rib, arch stiffness), the effects of these parameters on natural vibration characteristic is studied.(3) With the existing aseismatic theory, the aseismatic capability of the special shape bridge is analyzed by time-history analysis. Then the response characteristics is analyzed and compared between one-dimensional seismic ground motion and three-dimensional seismic ground motion. The results shows one-dimensional ground motion is not only important, but three-dimensional ground motion is also important. |
