In recent years, with the rapid development of China's urban construction, more and more high-rise building has emerged, As the role of construction and the forces of nature, the damage to buildings and quality defects will inevitably occur, but there is no way to be a suitable test External walls of buildings to detect quality defects. Detection of infrared thermal imaging method is rapid, non-contact, large-scale testing, does not damage the test material and test results of visual image, easy to realize the advantages of automation and real-time observation. Infrared Image quality defects can be detected as a means of quality defects detected external walls of buildings.At present, study on quality control of external walls of buildings, based on infrared technology, are still in the exploratory stage has not yet developed testing standards, In the course of field tests, there have no corresponding norm sand lack of guidance documents. Meanwhile, the scene of the detection process conditions, result analysis, image processing and other key technologies are not systematic study, has seriously hampered promotion and application of this new technology about External Walls of Buildings quality control.To solve the above problem, Researchers based on previous research thesis focuses on the following aspects are discussed and research:(1)This Paper analyses comparatively on the advantages and disadvantages of existing detection means of testing external walls of buildings, and put forward the feasibility on infrared thermopraphy employment in quality control of external walls of buildings and has done systematic research.(2)This paper details the quality control process of external walls field's site detection, discusses and improves the determine methods of environment conditions such as wall surface emissivity, infrared thermography effective horizon and so on. Meanwhile this paper writes MATLAB programs to simulate comprehensive day temperature and solar radiation in order to determine the optimal inspection weather conditions and the best testing period. The paper first put forward the average temperature rising rate method and weighted area method to quantitatively determine defect and determine judgment standard of the quality defect levels. The paper has established a set of theory and method to complete considerate infrared testing of external walls quality defects and later data combining quantitative analysis.(3)Based on MATLAB platform, this paper establishes processing system including the image geometric edit module, image temperature correction module, image statistical analysis, defect position automatic judgment.(4)The paper finally tests a few external walls of buildings using infrared thermal imaging method, and through infrared image processing system gives a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the test results. Thus establishes the feasibility and superiority of infrared thermal imaging method in the quality control of external walls of buildings.
