With developing and utilizing of the city's underground space, the number of foundation pit has been grown, the scale of foundation pit has been increased, The environment surround foundation pit is becoming increasingly complex. Pile-anchor retaining structure is widely used because of its powerful adaptability. Engineering accidents of this structure occurred frequently in the last few years owing to fallacious measures of deformation controlling used. In general, the theory of deformation controlling is lagging behind practice.On the base of studying a great number of Chinese and English research literature, based on the pile-anchor retaining structure of fast-track project of Jingguang Road-Shakou Road, make use of the first-hand information of that project, draw on experiences and methods of deformation controlling what has been accumulated during the construction of urban excavation. Research and summarize the measures which can reduce the lateral deformation of pit wall and the land subsidence during constructing the pile-anchor retaining structure. And summarize the measures that can protect the environment. Provide technical reference for the similar projects.First, this paper summarizes the current theory of deformation controlling. Here is the example:the trait research of capacity and deformation about the Pile-anchor retaining structure, the calculation methods we commonly used for structural design of the Pile-anchor retaining structure,the late theoretical achievements of the soil pressure in deep foundation pit engineering,etc. Establish the theoretical basis for further study. And summarize the common types of retaining structure and their characteristics. Make a further study of the characteristics of the pile-anchor retaining structure. Discuss the deformation mechanism of the deep foundation pit systematically. In the third chapter, with the specific engineering,we research and summarize the deformation control technology of the pile-anchor retaining structure. Including the deformation controlling during program designing, measures to control the deformation in every process, how to deal with emergency situations. Summarizes the methods commonly used in foundation deformation prediction. Make the theory of monitoring, prediction and deformation controlling integral.
