The advantages of the asphalt concrete pavement with smooth pavement low noise, driving comfort and no juncture make it be used broadly worldwide in the highway construction. With the developing of the construction of asphalt concrete pavement, the skid-resistance of pavement becomes very important. The texture of the pavement have a closely link with its skid-resistance, but the current evaluation indexes of the pavement texture are very less and the evaluation methods are backward.This paper analyzes the texture characteristics of the SMA pavement which have different granular composition, and comprehensive understands the indexes and the evaluation methods for concrete pavement texture. And this paper mainly researches Three-dimensional evaluation technique of the asphalt concrete pavement, using 3d LAMBERT optical model measuring system of accessing road surface structure; and using MATLAB software programming to realize pavement texture 3d visualization, accurately restored pavement's appearance and on this basis verify the rationality of algorithm in case of contrasting with gray image technology.The paper evaluates the fractal characteristics of Pavement 3d texture quoting from the fractal geometry, realizing in evaluation of asphalt concrete pavement extracting the fractal dimension (D); Through the indoor experiment verify fractal dimension (D) of rationality and stability; And researches the relevancy of the fractal dimension (D) with pavement structure depth (TD) and surface friction coefficient (f).
