In 1821, Faraday invented the first induction motor-disc induction motor. Because,of its winding core along the radial armature coils placed along the axial air-gap flux produced, which is also known as the axial field motor. But at that time, stator and rotor core of the motor is very difficult to be manufactured, can also cause uneven alveolar width indexing and increase iron loss; in the running time, between the stator and rotor will produce axial magnetic suction, increase the bearing load shorten life expectancy, increase mechanical loss and reduce efficiency. Therefore, in 1837 after the advent of the column motor, disc motor are not taken seriously.for one Hundred years, the column motor have advantage at a large margin. However, the radial magnetic field motor have some inherent disadvantages, such as the tooth root at the narrow "bottleneck effect", have not good rotor cooling conditions and utilization of the rotor core is not high, required to change from the appearance to promote the development of the motor. Especially in the use of the core material, the use of the core material of the column motor have 70% to 75%, while the disc motors is up to 95%. The disc motor is taken seriously. With the development of modern industry and improvement of people's living standards, the motor and electrical apparatus need to be smaller and thinner. Therefore, the structure of a flat disc motors in recent years has a rapid development.In particular, computer-controlled rotor core advent of automatic winding machine washed to solve the key problems of the disc motor manufacturing and equipment technology, and a variety of structural design and mass production become possible, thus promoting the development of disc motor.Based on the analysis of disc motors, T-type equivalent circuit and mathematical models in different coordinate systems is bulit.through Simulink, the disc motor were simulated using two different methods.the result is good.First, the inverter drive circuit board is designed, applications is control is Samsung's TE2440-Ⅱ.the total hardware system is reliable. And the parameter of a variety of important components is calculated. In software, the SPWM design method is selected, and then gives the ARM's control program.
