Research On Evaluation System For Landscape Coordination Of Mountain Scenic Highway

With the conception of harmony between man and nature being deeply rooted, the demand of highway is not only limited in the transfer of people or goods, but also in the traffic safety, landscape aesthetics and environment protection. Scenic highway is an indispensable part of tourism industry, which has been an important industry in our national economy. Scenic highway, especially mountain scenic highway, has higher standards of safety, beauty and pro-environment because of its geographical position. Thus, evaluation system for harmony between landscape and environment of mountain scenic highway has been established in order to have a comprehensive realization of the landscape coordination of the mountain tourism highway and provide solutions. This system includes four parts:index selection, index quantizing, index weights model and evaluation model.Theories of highway landscape, road ecology, traffic safety, scenic coordination etc. were analyzed. In order to learn about the status quo of landscape of mountain scenic highway, the effect of road construction, and searching potential tourism resources, several scenic highway of Xiangxi were chosen for investigation. The investigation is conducive to the construction of index system of mountain scenic highway landscape coordination.Evaluation system of landscape coordination of mountain scenic highway was constructed and improved by the following steps:first of all, index of mountain tourism highway landscape coordination selecting was based on Target Decomposition Method, Delphi Technique, Individual Tests and System Tests. Second, the index can be divided into two categories:quantitative index and qualitative index. And the quantitative index values are acquired through paper investigation and on-the-spot measurement; the qualitative indicators values are acquired by way of questionnaire and expert survey. Then the index values were standardized by rational methods. Third, in order to determine the weight distribution of the evaluation index system and analysis the special of the index weight, a combined weight model was established. In this model, the index weight consists of two parts:the amount of value weight and the amount of information weight. Finally, the combined evaluation model, based on the deviation of a single evaluation and combined advantages of different evaluation methods, was established to get more accurate, reasonable and comprehensive value of landscape coordination of tourism highway.Choosing the scenic highway from Li Xian to Xiaojin Xian in Sichuan province as an engineering example, the evaluation result basing on the evaluation system was properly and practicable.
