As a new anti-counterfeiting technology for minting, square central-holed anti-counterfeiting technology is still in research and exploration, however, it is attracting increasing more attention of minting industry for its advantageous characteristics of complex technology, difficult to process and easy to distinguish. This dissertation focuses on design of technical parameters, specialized minting device and die, blanks positioning and misalignment prohibiting system. Besides, it illustrates how we took technological experiments of blanking, edge rimming, plating and finishing, then and finally realize batch production of square central-holed medals.First of all, this dissertation illustrates the designing work of technical parameters for square central-holed medals. Technical parameters for blanking, edge rimming and plating are decided are according to the material chosen so as to make blank making technology come into being. And then it illustrates the designing work of minting die. Specialized minting die are made according to the machining technology for minting die and square central-holed medal. With the foundation of making round coin, considering the characteristics of hole forming, specialized minting device are designed for square central-holed medals. A close space come into being by mandril, collar and minting die, to ensure coining of the central hole. And then reasonable clearance of mandril, collar and minting die are given for the solution for burr and making image pattern full. After that, the designing work of blanks positioning and misalignment prohibiting system are taken so as to realize accurate positioning, feeding and coining. At last, experiments of batch production are taken for optimizing specialized minting device as well as blanks positioning and misalignment prohibiting system, to realize continuous batch production of square central-holed medals, and ensure all technical parameters meet the demand.
