As the rapid development of the electrolysis manganese industry in our country made great contribution to local economic construction, the ecological environmental pollution which cannot be neglected has also been triggered.The old craft and equipments make operators working in the bad severe environment constantly and physical health suffered the potential threats of selenium and all kinds of heavy metal.This article takes the stripping worker and Slot face worker of one typical electrolytic manganese enterprise which located in Manganese triangle area, Hunan as the research objects, almost515samples of hair,nail and urine were dissolved by microwave digestion and the element contents of Se,Cr,Mm,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn, As,Cd,Pb in the three kind samples were determined by ICP-MS, compared to the normal contents of samples which are promulgated by National Trace Elements Scientific Research Association Standard or some authoritative literatures, statistical analysis was made on the selenium and heavy metal pollutions of the two type workers, discussed the change law of trace element contents of human samples preliminarily.The qualitative determination of selenium in hair, nail and urine samples was analyzed using the XAFS device of synchronization radiation, then explore the chemical change of various form of selenium and the damage to human body health.The results indicated that whether stripping workers or slot face workers are all suffered pollution of selenium and other heavy metal elements in varying degree and compare to stripping workers, Slot face workers were suffered more serious heavy metal elements,specially Mn,Se and Cr elements.The over standard rate of Mn,Se, Cr,Cu,As,Cd in hair samples of the stripping worker were more than70%and the level of exceeding standard of Mn,Se,Cr is more serious.Meanwhile, the exceeding standard rate of Mn,Se,Cr,As,Cd,Ni,Cu in hair samples of slot face workers were more than70%and the pollution of Mn, Se is the most serious.The level of exceeding standard of Mn, Se, Cr,Cu in nail samples is the most serious and the over standard rate of two type of workers is more than76%, the content of Mn, Se in nails of slot face workers238.7times and24.18times of standard,respectively.The level of exceeding standard of Mn, Se, Cr in urine samples of two type of workers is the most serious and the content of Mn in all sample is almost overproof, the over standard rate of Mn, Se is more than80%.The graph of change of Mn, Se, Cr elements in human samples showed that there is no linear feature between the content of trace element and age, even if workers have the similar working age. There was no correlation among various trace elements in hair and nail.The selenium element from the environment of production in electrolysis manganese enterprise is storaged in the form of SeMet finally, which is needless for human body and even harmful to body health. Therefore, there exist relatively large human health risk of selenium and heavy metal pollution in electrolytic manganese.
