Sesquiterpene compounds possess some special biological activities, which play animportant physiological, ecological function and significance in terms of the enhancement ofplant's own ecological competition, such as plant growth regulators, allelopathy, plantpesticides and so on. Helianthus sesquiterpene Heliannuol F exhibits obvious allelopathy,which has benzo-fused cyclic ether structure. Based on this, we study the total synthesis ofthis compound and experiments are still in progress.The main results were as follows:1,Completed the preparation of borane in laboratory with using reaction of sodiumborohydride and boron trifluoride to offer borane in solvent of glycol dimethyl ether, and itsconcentration was determined by1.25mol/L. Optimizes the method of preparation of alkyliodide by the application of hydroboration iodination reaction.2,Optimizes the method of preparation of one more carbon aldehydes by the applicationof Corey-Chaykovsky reaction and open-loop reaction in the condition of boron trifluoride.3,Get25intermediate compounds, including six new compounds in the exploration ofthe synthesis of Heliannuol F basic skeleton. The single crystal of compounds20,21,22havebeen obtained, which are characterized by X-ray diffraction. Compound20displays aU-shaped structure; the two benzene rings are nearly parallel and partiallyoverlapped to each other. In the crystal, weak intermolecular C—H····O hydrogen bondslink the molecules, forming supramolecular chains running along a axis.
