Through the 3D drawing software gives the water press under the beams of the solid model, and as a basis for the design of pouring system and developing process parameters. By using the software of ProCAST casting system for finite element mesh, and the filling and solidification process of solidification temperature field simulation analysis, combined with the different location of the casting solidification curves show that the mold filling process of castings, smooth, realize sequential solidification process of castings. The actual castings, ultrasonic and magnetic particle inspection results, found no shrinkage hole, shrinkage porosity and surface porosity, slag inclusion, proved the rationality of technology scheme. The work of this paper and the main conclusions are as follows:The casting process simulation software ProCAST to 7200T water press, under the beams of the casting process for research, setting reasonable boundary condition and thermal physical parameters, the casting filling and solidification temperature field, according to temperature field of casting solidification curve of different position of pre drawing. The work of this paper and the main conclusions are as follows:Application of 3D modeling software SolidWorks drawing hydraulic press crossbeam, model, and use finite element mesh tool GeoMesh on casting model mesh, into ProCAST software MeshCast unit for grid fault repair.The grid file into ProCAST software PreCAST unit to simulate grid file pre-processing, setting boundary parameters, initial conditions and operation parameters. On casting were simulated and analyzed to obtain the filling and solidification process of temperature field and temperature field of casting, according to different positions of the solidification curve to determine the solidification sequence.Magnetic particle testing and ultrasonic testing results show that: in accordance with the design process for casting surface and internal table without affecting the mechanical properties of the cast defects. Castings from the test results and simulation results can be seen that the casting process simulation software ProCAST can effectively predict the process feasibility.Application of casting simulation software ProCAST to steel castings casting process simulation analysis of heat transfer coefficient should be used when H= 500W / m2·K the analysis results and the actual castings closest.
