| The multi-effect evaporate process of electrolyte solution in chlor-alkali industry was simulated by programming MATLAB in this article. The mathematical model was established by combing material balance, Heat balance and characteristic of the evaporation of electrolyte solution. With this model the three-effect following flow evaporation process was simulated, and the results of this simulation were validated by the data from factory and the data from literature. Then the process of three-effect countercurrent flow, three-effect complex current and three-effect/four part evaporation were simulated with this model by MATLAB program, and the economy of the vapor consumption of these four processes were compared with the results of the simulation. A conclusion was drew that the economy of vapor consumption the three-effect/four part evaporation is the best, then the three-effect complex current evaporation then the three-effect countercurrent flow and the three-effect following flow evaporation. The math model in this article can be reference in the operation of the electrolyte solution multi-effect evaporation in plant. |
