This paper introduces the improvement of trioxane quality to improve the quality of polyoxymethylene. Through analyzing the process of trioxane and comparing the analysis data, methyl formate in the feeding material of purification unit is the main factor that is influencing the methanol concentration in trioxane product. Distillation operation is suitable to separate the methyl formate from the feeding material after analyzing the physical property and simulating by ASPEN.Install the distillation tower in the field according to the simulation result. Through the operation, the adjustment and the optimization, the concentration of methyl formate in the feeding material of purification system was deceased about 1.2%. And the result is almost same as the simulation result. It get the result of the concentration of methanol in trioxane product was decreased about 25ppm.In the same time, the problem of para-formaldehyde in the top line and condenser through the operation adjustment and operation optimization.
