Photochromatism of spirooxazine has been broadly studied, and it can be concluded that the stimulated lights concentrated all in the UV zone. In this paper, a series of thiophene spirooxazine compounds were synthesized with the introduction of multithiophene groups using the method of conjugated bonds, so that the stimulated photochromatic light moved to the zone of visible light, then the comparative research of spectral properties was carried out. The results showed that with the increase of the number of thiophene introduced, characteristic absorption spectrum for the synthesized compounds moved to visible zone gradually and red shift occured for the ring opening products. At the same time, the synthesized compounds showed fluorescent characteristic, which didn't exist for spirooxazine compounds, and the electrochemistry properties were studied using the cylic voltammetry method. The synthesized compounds can be used as a kind of photoelectricity material based on the multithiophene structure, sensible to visible light and the separated structure for positive and negative charges of ring opening oxazine. In the process of experiment, different polar groups were introduced onto the 8'position of the naphthalene ring of the spirooxazine structure to synthesize 3 kinds of compounds, whose spectrum properties were studied using comparative research. The results showed that with the increase of polarity of the substitutent groups on the 8'position, red shift occured for the ring opening absorption of the photochromic compounds, whose structure increased in stability; red shift also occured for the ring opening absorption of the photochromic compounds with the increase of polarity of solvents to dissolve oxazine compounds, but the stability for the ring opening structure decreased; moreover, studies were carried out on the fatigue resistence and electrochemistry properties.
