In this dissertation, centering on improving the responsivity of photocatalysts to visible light and catalysts recovery, nanoparticle titania co-doped with cobalt and nitrogen was prepared by sol-gel method. The catalysts obtained were characterized by XRD, SEM, UV-vis and so on, the main results were as follows:1. The photocatalysts Co and N co-doped TiO2 and the compound photocatalysts supported on artificial zeolite (AZ) were synthesized by sol-gel method. Subsequently, the effects of synthesis condition and reaction condition on photocatalytic activity of compound photocatalysts have been studied. Results show that the Co/N/TiO2 with anatase crystallization uniformly covered on the supports'surface, the addition of Co and N makes the synergetic effects, which shifed the absorption regions of TiO2 to visible light. Further, the loading effects of artificial zeolite increased the activity of photocatalysts2. Using hollow glass beads as the supports, the compound photocatalysts Co/N/TiO2-Beads was synthesized by sol-gel method, and the photocatalytic activity of the photocatalysts have been studied. The analysis results indicated that the conpound photocatalysts have a high surface area, a better reutilization, also the absorption regions was shifted.3. The experiments of the two catalyst reuse show that, as a carrier, the artificial zeolite showed a little better of the photocatalytic effect, but the beads have a higher recycling rate. Comparative experiments of different systems indicated that the supported catalyst is better than the corresponding powder catalysts, mainly due to the catalytic function of the doped TiO2 catalyst and carrier function of synergy.
