Static And Dynamic Analysis Of A Large-Size Spiral Bevel Gear CNC Machine Tool

Bevel gears are used for transmitting the rotational motion of crossing or interleaving axes. Due to its performance, such as the big overlap coefficient, the high carrying capacity, the smooth transmission, spiral bevel gears are widely used in automotive, aircraft, ships and other industrial fields. So spiral bevel gears have become an indispensable transmission parts in modern machinery manufacturing.CNC machine tools have been widely used in mechanical processing areas. The requirements of CNC machine tools'productive capacity are more and more strict with its development. Therefore, the static and dynamic analysis are absolutely necessary in the design of CNC machine tools.In this paper, the structure of a large-size spiral bevel gears CNC machine tool is introduced and machine column and machine bed are taken as examples ,the analysis process of CNC machine tools are described explicitly. The main contents include:(1) Research and analysis the features of the structure of CNC milling machine, and calculate its maximum working load. The machine's mechanical model are established by Solidworks , then the static analysis of machine can be done by ANSYS, and the deformation and stress of machine are laid out. The modal analysis can also be analysed and natural frequency and mode shape of machine tools are obtained.(2) Change the structure of machine tools based on the analysis, and analyse the machine tools. Contrast the results we can find the capacity of machine is improved.(3) The heat source are analyzed of machine tools in working status and the heat production rate is calculated. The spindle system model is established by ANSYS and the steady temperature field distribution can be carried out. At last, the thermal deformation of spindle system can be gotten.
