Organic solvents evaporated into the atmosphere brings serious environmental pollution, endangers human health, increases production costs of industries, taking suitable method to recover organic solvents can not only reduce the production costs of industries, but also have great environmental value.Different recovery methods were compared, and combining with the actual production process, condensation was chosen to recover the commmon volatile organic solvents in the production of explosives in this article. According to the heat transfer theory of heat exchanger and the actual experiment condition, one tubular heat exchanger was designed, and recovery experiments were researched with the device. The condensing temperature heat transfer interval, working pressure, inlet concentration were studied in this essay, the results show that:the lower the condensation temperature was, the higher the recovery rate was; recovery efficiency at different interval was different when different solvents in different condensing temperature, preferred heat-exchange intermission time was 20min-25 min; working pressure had obvious effection on the recovery rate,-15℃, when 0.05 MPa the higher recovery rate of acetone was 76.10%, in 0.08 MPa, the higher recovery rate of ethyl acetate was 85.80%.In order to detect the purity of the recovered samples with the condensing system acetone solution was chosen as the standard curve in this article, the purity of the recovered samples was charactered through the high gas chromatography. The results indicate that solvents which were recovered in the atmospheric humidity between 25% and 70%, the purity of recovery acetone was≥97%, the purity of ethyl acetate samples was≥99%, the purity of ethanol samples was≥94%. Both the solvents in the water solubility and environment air humidity had certain effection on the purity of recovered solvents, at the same time because the accuracy of the testing instrument and the experiment operation, these were in allowable error range, the recovered solvents could still be recycled. At the same time the recovery rate of different proportion of acetone solution was also tested through the high gas chromatography, the results show that the recovery rate of different proportion of acetone solution was not high, the highest recovery rate was 67.07%. The recovery rate of different proportion of acetone solution was not satisfying, which indicates that condensation method was not suitable for recovering low concentration organic solvents.
