The quality of grain changes continuously from new to obsolete in the process of storage. In our country, fatty acid values have been taken as the significant indicator for grain storage quality. Nowadays, we mainly use manual titration and artificial observation to determine the end point, which will inevitably lead to deviation.This paper researches the technology of color detection, and selects the light-to-frequency sensor TCS3200 to detect color. This paper also uses high power white LED as light source, and designs the detection apparatuses of solution color.This paper designs grain fatty acid values automatic titrator, in which STC12C5A32S2, STC12C5608AD single chips are used as processor. This paper lists relevant hardware circuit diagrams, including the information collection circuit of solution color, the driven circuit of titration pump and HCI interface circuit. The software of grain fatty acid values automatic titrator is designed by adopting embedded C language, also the cogitation of software design, the flowchart of program and the detection algorithm of titration end are given.The grain fatty acid values automatic titrator has been trialed in the relevant laboratory, in which the tentative indicates that manual titration deviation was eliminated. The results coincide with national standard by automatic titration, automatic end point determination and automatic fatty acid values calculation.Appendix also gives the real images of the automatic grain fatty acid values titrator.
