| In order to achieve the salt-free dyeing of reactive dyes, heighten the affinity between cotton fiber and reactive dyes, and increase the rate of dyeing, the paper applied cationic technology to modify cotton fabrics, and prepared cationic modified cotton fabrics. With cyanuric chloride as mother,3-chloro-2-hydroxy propel dimethyl ammonium chloride as a cationic functional monomer, the dual-quaternary ammonium cationic modifier ZY were prepared by the substitution reaction. Then preprocessing cotton fibers with the modifier cations ZY make the surface positively charged cotton fibers, then dyed with reactive dyes.In preparing of cationic agents, this article investigates the monomer ratio, reaction time, reaction temperature, initiator concentration and other process parameters affecting on the synthesis reaction.Using infrared spectroscopy on the product composition and structure,ZY were characterized to verify the target product. Finally, the cotton fabric were modified by cationic agent ZY and dyed with reactive dyes.By changing the modifier concentration, modified time,pH and temperature and other parameters, dye uptake rate and K/S value were measured after modified cotton fabric dyeing. The main factors of impact effect on cationic modification of cotton fiber were discussed in detail. The best modification methods of cationic agent ZY were determined:impregnation.Conditions were:modified dosage 25g/L,sodium hydroxide 24g/L,modified temperature 55℃,modified time 20min.Then modified cotton fabric were dying with reactive dyes, and K/S values and dye uptake rate is the highest.Meanwhile,on the application of cationic agent, the cationic agent ZY applied to the fiber has opened a new direction, increasing the bonding between modifier and fiber, improving dye uptake and fixation, reducing the modifier of consumption and cost, and improving production efficiency. |
