PE100 resin is higher classication in pressure pipe materials,and used for supplying water,gas,oil.The demand for pressure pipe materials is 600,000 ton every year in china,at an annual rate of 8% growth,and has enormouse potential.But,pressure pipe materials have been mainly imported from abroad,and is monopolized by import pipe materials.So,it cannt meet the requirements of China national economy.By relying on the Qilu Petrochemical Company 140,000 t of high density polyethylene, multiple regulating technology in pilot and industry plant, investigating the relationships for polymerization technology,resin properties and molecular architecture, a new PE100 pipe material with unimodal distribution is firstly producted in a gas-phase polyethylene fluidized bed reactor. Studying granulation technology,PE100 pipe compound is producted with excellent Comprehensive properties. The PE100 resins that we develop have outstanding processing properties,high melt strength and excellent hydrostatic strength. Comprehensive properties of it meet the requirments of the ISO standards for water and gas pipes. The PE100 resin has been applyied to product pipe in many companies.Its success broke the long-term monopoly of import,promote the healthy development of PE pipe industry. Considerable economic and social benefits are obtained.
