| The effects of the content and the filling processes of hyperdispersants with different structures on the properties such as rheological properties, gel time and mechanical properties of the unsaturated polyester resin/aluminum hydroxide composites were investigated. The results showed:viscosity-reducing effects of BYK and D series hyperdispersants were found, but with gel time enlonging, and with the mechanical properties deteriorating; to GC series hyperdispersants, viscosity-reducing effects of GC-21 and GC-24 were found, but the mechanical properties deteriorated.A series of acrylic resin hyperdispersants were synthesized with poly(methyl acrylate), poly(ethyl acrylate) and poly(butyl acrylate) as the solvatable chain respectively, with acrylic acid as the anchoring group by the orthogonal experiment, and characterizations of their structures were done, the optimum formulation was obtained by investigation of the effects of these hyperdispersants on the properties such as rheological properties and mechanical properties of the unsaturated polyester resin/aluminum hydroxide composites. The results showed:the rheological property and mechanical property of the composite was improved with the hyperdispersant of polybutyl acrylate as solvatable chain whose length was about 5nm.Moreover, multi-spot anchor hyperdispersants were synthesized, with polycaprolactone as the solvatable chain, triethylene tetramine as the anchoring group, and their effects on the unsaturated polyester resin/aluminum hydroxide composites were investigated. The results showed:viscosity-reducing effects and improving mechanical properties of the composites were reached with single-spot anchor hyperdispersants. |
