Research Of The Modeling Of The Coal Tunnel Engineering And Its Applications

In the 21st century, mining is not only an important basic industry of the national economy, but also an important component of the protection of national strategic security. Tunnel engineering modeling and its applications, could make the mine engineering being perfect and speeding up the construction of digital mine.Based on analyzing the developments of the mine geographic information system and the researches on the modeling of coal tunnel engineering at home and abroad, the main contents of this paper include:Firstly, the study focuses on the research of the characteristics of coal tunnel engineering data and its spatial data organization. A reasonable data organization is the key of 3D modeling of tunnel works. This paper analyzes the characteristics of the tunnel and the equipment in tunnel, and discusses the data extraction method for tunnel works in different storage format. Object ARX technology was used to achieve the automatic extraction of data in AutoCAD format.Secondly, the study focuses on the research of the algorithm of 3D modeling of the tunnel. Based on analyzing to the present tunnel modeling methods and the characteristics of tunnel, the tunnels are divided into straight tunnel, bending tunnel, variable section of tunnel and cross-point tunnel and so on. The study of the algorithm of 3D model referes to various types of tunnel.Thirdly, the study focuses on the research of the modeling of the equipments in tunnel. Different modeling methods are used for different kinds of equipment.Finally, the study focuses on the research of the applications of coal tunnel engineering system. Using SQL Server database, visual C++6.0 and OpenGL as development tools and based on GeoMo3D and tunnel engineering information, a Tunnel Engineering System software is developed. The 3D tunnel roaming, equipment information querying and the warning in security are realized. It was tested in Qianjiaying Mine of Kai Luan Corporation.
