Activated sludge process is widely used by sewage treatment plant to process the sewage, especially for city life water. However, the method usually produce large amount of excess sludge, need to be dealt with in order to avoid secondary pollution.Ultrasonic sludge processing is a method to be used for excess sludge processing. In this paper, we research the mechanism of ultrasonic broken sludge cells on dynamics. First, we use ultrasonic to broke excess sludge. Second, we get out the dynamic mechanism that how cells broken.Ultrasonic broken sludge experiment are divided into two aspects. First, we study the relationship between ultrasonic irradiation time and the effect of sludge broken. So we can get the best ultrasonic irradiation time. Second, we study the relationship between the power of ultrasonic irradiation and the effect of sludge broken. sludge crushing effect is reflect by SCOD of sludge and nucleic acid concentrations. So we can get the best ultrasonic irradiation power.The dynamic mechanism is explore in several aspects as this:first of all, we mastery the ultrasonic cavitations theory. Second, we use Matlab to get the numerical solution of the differential equation about cavitations bubbles movement. Through the numerical solution we can get the press produced by the closure of capitation bubble under the conditions of this experiment. The press is used to broke the cells of sludge, so and the end we calculate the limit strength of cell broken.
