Bra, which needs to satisfy the demand of breast shape, is one of the most important women's intimate apparel. Cup is the main component of bra, it plays an important role on bra efficacy. Molded bras nowadays are dominating the overall bra market place, the smooth and seamless inner surface of a molded bra cup gives three-dimensional nice fit to the wearer. The bra cups are mostly made of polyurethane foam. However, the production of this foaming material causes the environment pollution and it's hard to handle waste; in addition, the polyurethane foam bra cup has poor air permeability and yellowing tendency. So it is difficult to cater to the lifestyle of environmental and comfortable.It has become one of the focuses of the underwear industry that research and develop molded bra cup with environmental and comfortable in domestic and foreign. Three-dimensional non-woven is a new kind of filling material which has unique three-dimensional structure and excellent properties of good air permeability, non-yellowing, recyclable and so on. It will be gradually applied in the field of bra cups instead of polyurethane foam. However, because of the unique composition and organizational structure of three-dimensional non-woven, the bra cup molding process of this material is different from the molding of polyurethane foam which is relatively mature.Therefore, in view of the industry focus, it has larger practical significance for enterprise production of studying the molding process of three-dimensional non-woven bra cup. This study fully relies on the production and processing technology of aimer underwear brand. Firstly, based on the properties of molded bra cup, improve the test method which is lower accuracy and reliability, and form the evaluation system with the indexes of the formability, handle, appearance and washing effect of molded cup. Then explore the molding mechanism of three-dimensional non-woven bra cup based on the molding process of polyurethane foam. On this basis, the influence of molding process factors to the properties of molded bra cup are studied, and the optimal allocation of these factors is studied by taking orthogonal experiment. Finally, the optimal molding parameters have been found. So the bra cup is molded with ideal shape which is matching regulations contour shape and excellent performance, and it provides the industry with reasonably guidance for the development of molding production of three-dimensional non-woven bra cups.
