Study On The Infinity And Terminability Of Clothing Materials Redesign

Clothing material means any material can be used to make clothes. The range of clothing materials are expanding all the time. Analyzing just from the fashion design point of view, for some extent , this expansion mainly is not only seen as items of clothing materials , it has also been applied to the garment design and production . Clothing materials refer to a broader range than fabrics. The infinity of clothing materials means that the infinite possibilities of redesign; and limited nature of the clothing material means its design limitations and binding character. This paper makes an exposition of the terminability and infinity of clothing materials redesign . It first centers on the defination of the clothing materials, to indicate the terminability and infinity of clothing materials redesign. and then through analyzing the successful cases to discourse the terminability and infinity of clothing materials redesign. In the end of the paper , I show the expectations of the future development trend of clothing materials redesign. I hope that through the introduction and research of clothing materials redesign to broaden our design ideas, and inspire design practitioners.
