Reactive dyes which were commonly used for cellulose fiber fabric dying were completely chromatographic, good dying penetration, low cost, dyeing short time and bright color. Reactive dyes could combine with fiber to forming covalent bonds, but dyeing fastness was undesirable, especially washing fastness and wet rubbing fastness. It would be effectively improved the dying fabric's wet rubbing fastness by using wet rubbing fastness improver. In recent years, as a new functional polyurethane polymer had been rapid development, which provides a good theoretical basis for synthesizing high-performance polyurethane wet rubbing fastness improver.In this paper, the wet rubbing fastness improver of aqueous polyurethane was synthesized by polyether polyols, isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI), N-methyl diethanolamine, dimethylol propionic acid(DMPA), which were the raw materials. The synthesis and application factors were discussed.(1) Blocked polyurethane wet rubbing fastness improver was synthesized and the choice of polyether polyols and the ratio of performance were discussed.Reactive dyes on cotton fabric which used the type of polyurethane agent, and it's wet rubbing fastness was improved 0.5-1 level.(2) Extender chain of polyurethane synthetic process was discussed in this paper, and choose different chain extension agent for getting the stability of waterborne polyurethane emulsion type chain extension by water dispersible; some main factors which affected the performance of waterborne polyurethane emulsion were studied and confirmed that their best dosage:ratio of NCO/OH is 1.5, the amount of hydrophilic monomer (DMPA) 3.1%, certain amount of diethylene triamine, N-methyl diethanolamine prepolymer in turn to prepolymerization body extender chain, the water-borne polyurethane emulsion which had good film properties and better rubbing fastness properties on dying fabrics had been gotten.When researched polyurethane emulsion's ability, the viscosity of the lotion and polyurethane lotion stability and tensile strength of film were also discussed; the film of aqueous polyurethane were analyzed by infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Finally, aqueous polyurethane finishing agent for cotton fabric padding, baking finish, and baking temperature, baking time and concentration of finishing agent were discussed and got the best finishing process; testing effect of the treated fabric of dry and wet rubbing fastness with softener finishing, and fastness of the fabric of the other were also tested.The results showed that aqueous polyurethane polymer emulsion's abilty had stabile, the formation of the film had good mechanical properties.After finishing the fabric, the dry rubbing fastness could increased 0.5 level and achieved above 4 level; wet rubbing fastness could improved 1-2 level, got above 3-4 level and higher washing fastness, the finished fabrics degree had good washing ability. In addition, the polyurethane films figure shows IR:It was indicated cationic water-based polyurethane by the formation of CH2 bending vibration peaks which associated with quaternary ammonium cations near the peak of 1350cm-1.
